Spring season is one of my favorite season. The burst of nature's bright colors of pink, purple, yellow and of course, my favorite, RED After three months of long cold Winter at least in the Boston and the New England states region, it is time to put away your winter coats, get out and smell the fresh scent of flowers and new growth in your garden or your favorite local park.
Here are my three Spring ideas that I enjoy doing each year in celebrating the beauty of Spring.
1. Visit your local Spring Home and Garden Shows.
Being a Bostonian, I am fortunate to visit The Boston Flower & Garden Show at Seaport World Trade Center today. The friendly vendors and exhibits are extremely helpful in providing wonderful helpful tips on gardening. I've got tons of great creative ideas on how to create an awesome sanctuary in my tiny urban garden. You may check your local cities about the Spring Home and Garden Shows or any garden shows for time and schedules. Or even visit your local nurseries for planting native plants in your area.
For those country folks out there, if you have a bigger yard, create an awesome garden with fountains and decors from one of my favorite website, Garden-Fountain.com. Also consider keeping some "spring chicken" if it is allowed in your neighborhood.
2. Capture the nature floral beauty in photography, video or painting.
Photographing nature's floral masterpiece and beauty are so much easier than wildlife because they do not move. So get out your camera, GoPro and capture the beauty of flowers. We have fun putting this video with music and quotes. The photographs and videos were taken near a coffee house near the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
3. Listen music and podcast while jogging through your favorite park.
I enjoy classical music especially Vivaldi's Four Season while jogging through my favorite park in Boston. Jogging under rows of cherry blossom trees in their full bloom is a blissful experience. It is wonderful that flowering plants bloom in different months. Get out of your house and get some fresh air, stop and smell the flowers (if you are not allergic to pollens).
So what do you want and like to do this Spring Season? Have a wonderful Spring season.
